The Bullfrog's concept originated through the owners John Hagar and his
wife Kim in 1995 always with a family oriented concept of an upscale restaurant
and bar inviting everyone to stop in and say 'hi'. The Hagar's have three boys
Jonathon, Anthony and Brandon all in which they have chosen to name an item from
their menu after. Located in northern Oakland county in the town of Ortonville,
the Hagar's have grown to love the community and all their new friends so much
that they purchased another restaurant (The Boat) only a half a mile north
of their original on Bald Eagle Lake, hoping to one day create a new place to
share with friends and family. As the saying goes, "We always have something
hoppin at our pad…"
